Baggy Hat with Tapestried Hearts

A Failed Experiment.

It looks good, it has a total of 5 hearts, run in a vertical line, but it’s way too big. I don’t know anyone with a head this big. So I took a picture and pulled it out. Maybe I’ll try again at some point.

New Men’s Hat

20180113-Snow-Hat1

I wanted to make a new hat for Mike and based this one on a hat I made for myself last year, but it’s a little different.

Blue Gathered Ponytail Hat

20170107 - Ponytail Hat 3A 20170107 - Ponytail Hat 3B

This is made the same as the Yellow Ponytail Hat except with one strand of medium blue and one strand of dark blue yarn, and only work 9 rows of the body (ie skip rows 11 – 14 on that pattern, to make it shorter), and weave in the drawstring in row 10 (last row before picot-edge row).

Yellow Ponytail Hat

This is my second ponytail/messy-bun hat. I’ve never had any interest in pom-poms on top of hats, but I like the gathered top on this, and it’s easy for a ponytail, or can be worn loose over the hair for a a kerchief effect.
