Welcome! This is my crochet site. It's mostly for my own reference, but if others find it interesting and useful that's good too. ~Snow

I don’t quite recall when I first learned to crochet. I’m sure my mother taught me when I was a kid. Maybe eight years old. I didn’t do much of anything with it then. I relearned as a teenager, and made a couple of baby-blankets for family members. Then in the fall of 1998 I picked up some patterns for little crocheted pouches. I tried a couple and then focused in on one in particular and altered it and added beads and then made several dozen in various colors, and gave them away as gifts to everyone I knew for Xmas. I mostly stuck with thread crochet until Fall of 2006 when I picked up my first book of yarn crochet patterns, and that is roughly where this blog starts. In 2008 I returned to the thread work I love so much. I bounce back and forth. Lighter and heavier threads/yarns all have their place.

The Site

This site is about my crochet learning, projects, experiments, patterns and musings. There will be original patterns by me, and also pattern add-ons. For the latter I will reference the book, page, and title of the pattern I have altered. I will do my best not to include any copyrighted material from the original pattern, only what I have created myself. This site is also for my notes to myself as I am learning, for later reference. If any of this can benefit other folks, all the better.
